This choir, usually composed of 60 voices, began its journey in 1998 under the direction of Julio Hurtado Llopis. Since then, it has held exchanges with choirs such as “Gaudeamus” from Figueres (Girona), “Coral L’Horta de Sant Marcel·lí”, “La Nova Armonía” from Sallent (Barcelona), “Joventuts Unides” from La Sénia (Tarragona), “Coro Alcazaba” from Baza (Granada), Cor Societat Cultural Alaior (Menorca), Orfeón Condado Paradanta from Mondariz (Pontevedra), Aita Donostia (San Sebastián), Pedreguer (Alicante), Cor Ciutat d’Eivissa (Ibiza), and Coro Gaztelumendi Abesbatza from Larrabetzu (Bilbao). Beyond our borders, it has participated in the III Euro-Brazilian Education Meeting held in Natal (Brazil), in the 30th World Conference on Music Education organized by ISME in Thessaloniki (Greece), and in the II Spain-Germany Choral Meeting at the Instituto Cervantes in Frankfurt. Its current director is Christian García Marco.
