The Mayorales de Sant Josep 2027 have organized a ‘Soparet a la fresca’ that will be held next Saturday, August 15 at the municipal sports center of l’Alfàs del Pi, an initiative with which they intend to raise funds for the organization of the next San José Festivities.

The Penya Barraka Foska assumes this year the mayoralía of the Festivities of San José. The president, Paco Más, and the vice-president, Ana Baldó, presented this activity together with the Councilor for Festivities and Traditions of the City Council of l’Alfàs del Pi, Sandra Gómez, a few days ago and today they remind us of it. The commission has prepared an evening designed to enjoy gastronomy, music and coexistence in a festive atmosphere and open to all citizens.

Dinner will consist of an authentically “de la terreta” menu, prepared by Mendoza Catering, with a selection of typical dishes of Valencian gastronomy. The price of the menu will be 30 euros, an amount that also includes the drink served during dinner. After the sopar, the mayorales will install a bar with drinks at popular prices, the proceeds of which will also be used to pay for the events of the next Fiestas de San José. The after-dinner talk will be enlivened with a live performance by the group Carne de Cañón and, later, with the session of a local DJ, turning the event into a night of party and conviviality.
