We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming Family Concert: “The Album of Anna Magdalena”.

The program will feature selected works from the renowned album of Johann Sebastian Bach’s second wife and most important copyist, Anna Magdalena, which contains a beautiful collection of music from the 18th century. The performance will combine an entertaining, educational presentation with anecdotes from the Bach family, intertwining the musical pieces with the stories behind them, offering the audience an engaging and enriching experience.

Anabel Sáez, a distinguished harpsichordist, will perform a selection from the album on her harpsichord and narrate the anecdotes in Spanish. To enhance the immersive experience, Anabel will be dressed in Baroque attire, creating a meaningful connection to the theme. Throughout the performance, she will engage with the young audience, seamlessly blending music and storytelling to offer a captivating experience.

The Family Concert, for children and their families, is expected to last approximately 45 minutes.
