Workshops conducted by the Costa Blanca Balla Club, in particular the Councilor for Health of l’Alfàs highlight the collaboration of Carolina Marcet, dance instructor, and of course of all the people who attend the call. The Dance Workshop is held once a month, every penultimate (second to last) Saturday, next to the sculpture of an anchor by Jorge Castro, in a setting that is difficult to surpass. The practice of physical exercise, such as dancing, has an impact on our general state of health and these actions are intended to promote sport in all its variations.

The aim of the workshop, recalls Marisa Cortés, is to promote health, from a town, l’Alfàs del Pi, a member of Xarxa Salut, a network that encompasses more than two hundred municipalities in the Valencian Community, committed to the promotion of preventive policies focused on the implementation of healthy habits in the population. A town integrated in the Spanish Network of Healthy Cities, an entity promoted by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the Ministry of Health.
