La Cala de Finestrat is preparing for one of the most eagerly awaited festive events of the year: the April Fair. It will be on the weekend of April 4 to 6 with a Tapas Contest and the best flamenco atmosphere. Live music, horse parade, sevillanas workshop and a tapas competition to which more than 20 establishments from all over La Cala have joined.

The April Fair is an explosion of Andalusian culture and a perfect time to experience flamenco at its best. “We are aware that we have many residents from Andalusia, as well as many lovers of flamenco, singing and popular gastronomy. So we are waiting for you at the April Fair in Cala de Finestrat”.

The Tapas contest will be running from April 4 to 6.

And for Saturday 5 there are several events planned such as the horse parade with flamenco animation from 12:00 p.m. It will be along Avenida Marina Baixa and up to Plaça de l’Àmfora. There will be an exhibition of the “Agurtzane Altuna” Dance School and the Luis Enrique, Vanesa Martín and María Sánchez Dance Academy starting at 4:30 p.m. And to continue enlivening the festive day, live music with the group Flamencos de las 7 lunas (6:00 p.m.).
